- 3 Cup Fox tail millet
- 1 Cup Green Gram
- 1 Piece Ginger Chopped
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Pepper
- 3 tbsp Curry Leaves Fresh
- 1 tbsp (As Required) Salt Table salt
- 100 ml Gingelly oil Cold press oil
- 10 glass Water
Fry the green gram.
Cook green gram with the millet in a steam cooker (4 Whistles) along with 10 glasses of water.
Temper the rest of the ingredients and add to the mixture.
Serve hot with coconut chutney and vegetables sambhar.
Note
The dish can also be prepared using Little Millet (samai) and Kodo Millet (varagu).
