Ingredients
- 100 gms Spinach (palak)
- 50 gms Split Green Gram
- 2 nos Onion medium size chopped
- 2 nos Medium size Whole
- 3 nos Garlic
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1 Pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 no Green Chilli
- 2 tbsp Gingelly oil
- 150 ml Water
- as required Salt
Instructions
- Cook the green gram in a vessel with 100 ml of water along with a pinch of turmeric powder and a few drops of oil until 3/4'th done
- Set aside, boil 50 ml of water in a vessel and soak the palak leaves in it for two minutes
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Fry Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Garlic, green chilli and onion
- Saute the whole tomatoes in the remnant oil
- Cool all the ingredients
- Grind the palak leaves and rest of the ingredients followed by the green gram
- serve hot
