Ingredients
- 200 gms chow-chow Chpped
- 50 gms split green gram
- 3 tbsp Grated coconut
- 1 tbsp Bengal gram
- ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 No Green Chilli
- ½ tbsp Mustard seeds and split black gram
- 2 stalk Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Oil Cold press
- 1 Pinch Asafoetida
- 50 ml Water
- to taste Salt
Instructions
- Wash and clean split black gram and cook in vessel until 3/4 th done
- Steam-cook the chow-chow in a steam cooker or a vessel
- Blend the coconut, cumin seeds and green chilli into a coarse mixture
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Season with mustard seeds, black gram, bengal gram, asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add cooked Chow-chow and split green grams
- Stir fry for 2 min and add salt
- Add coconut mixture saute for a minute
- Remove from stove, garnish with fresh curry leaves and serve
