Ingredients

  • ½ cup Wheat flour              
  • ½ cup Methi leaves
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds     (slightly crushed)
  • ½ tsp Pepper powder 
  • 75 ml Water
  • As Required Salt 

Instructions

  • Knead the chapatthi dough by mixing all the ingredients with sufficient water.
  • Divide the dough into balls of equal size and dip them into some flour.
  • Roll the dough with a rolling pin until the balls resemble thin, round pancakes.
  • Heat a heavy frying pan, tava or griddle over medium heat and cook each chappathi on both sides. Serve hot.

Notes

Variant:
Mint and coriander chappathi can also be made by adopting the same method.
