Wheat Kozhukattai

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Wheat Flour
- 100 ml Water
- 4 tsp Gingelly oil Cold press oil
- 1 tbsp Bengal gram
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds and split black gram
- 2 Nos Onion Finely Chopped
- 2 Stalks Coriander & Curry leaves Finely Chopped
- 1 Nos Green Chilli - Large Finely Chopped
- 100 gms Carrot Finely Chopped
- 100 gms Beans Finely Chopped
- 1 Pinch Pepper Powder
- 1 Pinch Cumin Powder
- 1 tbsp (As Required) Salt Table salt
Instructions
- Fry wheat flour in an iron skillet or a pan until a splendid aroma arises.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Saute mustard seeds, black gram, Bengal gram followed by onions, Green chilli and vegetables with required salt
- Remove from the stove. Add coriander leaves, pepper and cumin powder.
- Remove from the stove. Add coriander leaves, pepper and cumin powder.
- Mix well by adding water to obtain a thick consistency.
- Make balls out of the mixture and steam cook for -10-20 minutes.
- Serve hot with mint or coriander chutney.
Notes
Health Tips:
Wheat flour can be fried in tava until a splendid aroma comes out of it. It can then be mixed with jaggery or palm sugar, nuts, little ghee and made into round balls. It is an enriched whole grain food growing kids.
