Fox Tail Millet (Thinai) Pongal

Ingredients
- 3 Cup Fox tail millet
- 1 Cup Green Gram
- 1 Piece Ginger Chopped
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Pepper
- 3 tbsp Curry Leaves Fresh
- 1 tbsp (As Required) Salt Table salt
- 100 ml Gingelly oil Cold press oil
- 10 glass Water
Instructions
- Fry the green gram.
- Cook green gram with the millet in a steam cooker (4 Whistles) along with 10 glasses of water.
- Temper the rest of the ingredients and add to the mixture.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and vegetables sambhar.

The dish can also be prepared using Little Millet (samai) and Kodo Millet (varagu).
